NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top broadline retail companies are mixed at 10 a.m.: BJ’s Wholesale fell $.03 or .1 percent, to $36.73. Costco rose $.05 or .1 percent, to $59.24. Target fell $.08 or .1 percent, to $55.91. WalMart rose $.10 or .2 percent, to $54.21.

NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top specialty retail companies are mixed at 10 a.m.: AutoZone fell $.02 or percent, to $180.09. Gap rose $.12 or .5 percent, to $25.12. Home Depot fell $.11 or .3 percent, to $34.90. Lowes rose $.09 or .3 percent, to $26.29. OfficeMax rose $.17 or 1.1 percent, to $15.83. TJX Companies fell $.04 or .1 percent, to $45.64.

Retail stocks are mixed in zigzag trading in early activity in the aftermath of the Goldman Sachs Group Inc.s fraud charges and as Europe remains mired in an aviation crisis stemming from last weeks volcanic eruption in Iceland.
